After reading all the reviews on this, we decided to go ahead and register for the H4. We are not experts recorder but found the easy to use zoom.
Read the installation program "fast" and you know enough to record. Take 10 minutes with the manual and you can record well. Take another 10 minutes and you can get what you've recorded off the SD card. Zoom reaches a record of high quality Without additional microphones and bulk. The buttons are easy to use and the screen large considering the size of the recorder.
The only thing we did find irritating When you remove the SD card power is interrupted for the recorder and the audio settings must be reset (takes about 10 seconds). I would recommend this to anyone who has the need a GOOD digital recorder.
