I bought this recorder on the recommendation of some friends on a forum I frequent. It 's was purchased primarily for recording practice sessions acoustic and classical guitar. The internal microphones are very sensitive and pick up very well. I have not tried the external microphones on it yet. The capacity record an MP3 file very convenient and easy to send via internet.
Things that could improve the unit include:
It would be nice to have an integrated speaker for the preview. There is standard-size iPod ear jack can connect to preview and playback, but other than that, you have to take the card and connect it to your computer, etc. to hear back.
Removing the SD card difficult because of the right placement of the batteries. It hard to get ahold of the card. You also have to open the battery compartment to achieve and the batteries are mounted so as to freely use the gravitation cannot help with the card or the batteries fall. Both boring.
All in all, this is a unit beautiful and worth the money. It has many features that will not probably never use, but the quality of recording for my own use exceptional.
