This is just exactly what i needed, it works very well, and its handy for my daily performance. 5 stars all the way....
Very nice (good sounding mic preamps), and it does the job. And the price is terrific. The only thing I would change is aspects of the interface -- having to toggle the little switch-thingy around to set input levels (for example) is tricky; not being able to set levels for both channels simultaneously, stuff like that. But all things considered I'm very pleased with the product.
Record cleanly, and the built-in directional microphones are surprisingly. I, too, as that is not registered pi something else, if you need to record on the fly during the execution of another function. Understand the different functions and the mode to navigate the menus took a bit of practice, but once you understand it, it's pretty slick. I used to build my background and the library of effects, including gunshots, without distortion. If you need a portable recorder quality for whatever reason, this the final one to get.
