This is a great product. It produces results that rival a recording studio when you use the direct inputs. The microphones do not produce studio quality sound reproduction but if you connect a couple of Shure SM58 microphones you can get close. This recorder is small and easy to use after an hour or so of familiarizing yourself with the manual.
This is a great recorder. A little complicated to use unless you mix sound and effects; I don't use the effects much, the recording quality is great. It is important to know that you can only record 2 mono tracks simultaneously, or 1 stereo track. I wish it had more input tracks for recording, but I knew this going into the purchase so I am very happy with it.
